As a producer of bespoke, handcrafted items, our return policy is designed to balance customer satisfaction with the unique cost and effort involved in custom production.

1. Eligibility for Returns/Exchanges

• Timeframe: You have 7 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return or exchange.
• Condition: Items must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition that you received them. They must also be in the original packaging. Shoes showing signs of wear (scuffing, creasing, damage to the sole) will be rejected.
• Non-Returnable Items:
• Custom/Bespoke Orders: Shoes made to specific, non-standard sizing, or with unique material/color requests are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
• Gift Cards.
• Items purchased during a final sale or clearance event.

2. Process for Returns/Exchanges

1. Initiate: Contact us via email ([Insert Email Address]) with your order number and the reason for the return/exchange.
2. Assessment: We will review your request and, if approved, provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) number and instructions for shipping.
3. Shipping: The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a traceable and insured shipping service, especially within Lagos and Nigeria. Miara Designs is not responsible for lost return shipments.
4. Inspection: Upon receipt, we will inspect the item.
5. Resolution:

• Refund: If approved, a refund will be processed to your original method of payment, typically within 14 business days. Note: Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
• Exchange: If you requested an exchange, the new item will be shipped upon completion of its crafting (if not in stock). You will be responsible for the shipping cost of the exchanged item.

3. Defective or Damaged Items

If your item arrives defective or damaged, please contact us immediately (within 48 hours of delivery) with photographic evidence. We will cover the cost of return shipping and either repair the item, provide a replacement, or issue a full refund.
